H.E. Mr. Gurgen Arsenyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation, congratulated those present on the national holiday and highlighted his country's achievements on the international stage as well as in the economic, social, and cultural development spheres. He particularly emphasized the importance of preserving Armenian identity and cultural heritage which play a key role in uniting the nation.

Among the honored guests were Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation A.L. Overchuk and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia A.Yu. Rudenko.

In their greetings, they expressed hope for further strengthening of Russian- Armenian friendship, based on centuries-old cultural and historical ties.
