On February 12, 2025, IAPDE President Artur Khachatryan and Vice-Presidents of the Association attended an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Soviet diplomat G.M. Kornienko. The event, organized by the Political Party "A Just Russia — Patriots — For Truth," was held at the State Duma.
During the event, the book "The Diplomat: Georgy Kornienko," published by the "Just World" Institute, was presented.
Previously, representatives of the Association took part in the round table "Lessons of Kornienko," held at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in April of last year.On February 11, 2025, a working meeting was held between IAPDE President Artur Khachatryan and H.E. Mr. Augusto da Silva Cunha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to the Russian Federation.
The discussion focused on issues of cooperation in the spheres of cultural, humanitarian, and trade-economic relations.
