Upon the invitation of H.E. Mr. Augusto da Silva Cunha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to Moscow, IAPDE President Artur Khachatryan attended an official reception marking the 50th anniversary of Angola's Independence Day.
During the reception, the Ambassador addressed the guests with a welcome speech, expressing gratitude to the Russian leadership for the fruitful cooperation and contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between Angola and Russia. He also particularly highlighted the high level of mutual understanding and partnership developed between the two countries over the years.
The evening continued with a rich cultural program designed to introduce guests to the country's vast heritage.
The culmination of the program was a performance by the Symphonic Orchestra of Angola, which presented works by Angolan and foreign composers.
Traditional dances and musical performances reflecting the culture and traditions of the Angolan people were also presented.
