On September 20, 2025, IAPDE President Artur Khachatryan took part in the grand opening of the First World Public Assembly, held in Moscow, which brought together over 4,000 participants from more than 150 countries.
Over several days, approximately 50 sessions and discussions were held, centered around the main theme: "A New World of Conscious Unity" – a world where people are the primary resource and value. Participants discussed issues of economy and trust, the role of media, new technologies, and the prospects for peacekeeping.
The event became a platform for important dialogue, uniting representatives of Latin America and Eurasia.
The session "Latin America – Greater Eurasia: An Era of New Strategic Opportunities" brought together delegates from Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay to discuss ways to strengthen ties and foster joint development.
The focus was on key areas of cooperation:
Special attention at the Assembly was paid to the role of youth in shaping the future.
In addition to the official events, Assembly participants had the opportunity to learn about the host country's culture and take part in master classes and cultural programs. This contributed to strengthening personal contacts and creating an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation.
The fruitful work culminated in the signing of the Declaration, which outlined the main vectors of cooperation between Latin America and Eurasia.
This document opens new horizons for humanitarian initiatives, academic exchanges, and joint projects aimed at building a more just and balanced world.
Concluding the work of the First World Public Assembly, the participants expressed hope that it would become an annual event, uniting the efforts of representatives from various countries and cultures to achieve common goals.
