On October 16, 2024, IAPDE President Arthur Khachatryan with H.E. Mr. Khaled Al Shawabkeh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Russia, members of the diplomatic community, as well as business people and tourist agents took part in the event to mark the launch of flights by Royal Jordanian to Moscow.
During the event, programs and tourist packages available for Russian tourists wishing to visit Jordan were presented.
Additionally, the participants discussed prospects for cooperation in tourism, cultural exchange programs, and for enhancing bilateral relations between Russia and Jordan.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Russia emphasized the importance of direct flights for developing tourist traffic and noted that Jordan has a unique cultural heritage and natural beauty that attract travelers from around the world. He also added that the opening of flights would be a significant step toward strengthening ties between the two countries and creating new opportunities for business and tourism.
The event also featured various excursion routes, including visits to famous historical sites such as Petra and the Dead Sea, as well as offers for eco-tourism and adventure tourism.
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions about visa procedures and the specifics of staying in Jordan, as well as discuss potential partnerships between Russian and Jordanian tourism companies.
The event concluded with a networking session, during which business representatives could exchange contacts and discuss potential joint projects.
